This weekly yin yoga top-up will help to relax your mind, calm your nervous system and release any knots and blocks you may be holding. Facia, the connective tissue that weaves our muscles together, can become tense and locked if continually stressed. This occurs when one experiences emotional or physical trauma of any kind, or simply, through not taking the time to release the body holistically. Restorative Yin yoga is renowned for its calming and healing health benefits and works by releasing stagnant toxins and negative emotions held though the facia. Long term build up of stagnant toxins and emotional memory blocks lead to various ailments and in our ever so busy lives, a weekly Yin Yoga recharge, is just the thing you need to slow down and give yourself some healing time to release, restore and recharge. If you're finding yourself constantly tired or frustrated? Frazzled, aching or drained? Perhaps your wondering mind is keeping you from sleep at night? Or maybe you just need some quality recharge time for you? Restorative Yin Yoga is the best hour you can give to yourself each week. So get ready and plug yourself in for an hour of slow and deeply soothing restorative Yin. These classes will be held every monday and thursday startring from the 20th of july at Mamas Palms, bodyworks, massage and joga studio based at the ANU campas on joplin lane. The moday classes start at 4:30 pm and the thursday classes start at 10am. Each class will take you through a sequence of gentle yin yoga asanas along with breath work and mindfulness practices that consider the phases of the moon and seasons of the year. Get ready for your full mind and body recharge: ~ Suitable for beginners to advanced, 18+ ~ Wear: comfortable, non-restrictive clothing. ~ Bring: A yoga mat if you have one however there are plenty for everyone. ~ You may also like to bring a light wrap or blanket. ~ Avoid eating a heavy meal before hand. ~ Waiver to be signed prior to your first class. ~ Book and pay online* to reserve you place or simply turn up and pay with cash at the front desk. ~ *Online payments are non refundable. ~ Spaces are limited to 15 to ensure each participant is fully taken care of.
